Blog

  • Web log – a type of website which contains an individual’s regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other materials

Logos

  • Linguistics – a Greek (λόγος) term which means “word,” “speech,” “account,” or “reason
  • Philosophy – Heraclitus: principle of order and knowledge, Sophists: discourse, Aristotle: reasoned discourse,  Stoics: divine animating principle pervading the Universe
  • Psychology – Carl Jung: contrasted a rational, decisive logos with an emotional mythos
  • Christianity – the Word who created the universe and who was incarnated in the person of Jesus Christ (cf. John 1:1-15)
